Marketing + Social Media Specialist
We are looking for a part-time marketing + social media specialist to join our team! This person should have experience working with small brands on social media content + creation (photography, planning, reel/story creation, posting, and responding to DMs), email marketing, online advertising, marketing planning, and more. Ideal candidates are friendly, self starters, and are comfortable in a small business, customer-facing environment. This is a part-time position (Approx. 20-25 hours/week), and schedule is flexible. We require one day a week working in the shop for content creation.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record with social media strategy + growth
- Well versed in latest social media + marketing trends
- Experience creating online ads (Facebook, Instagram, Google)
- Experience using Klaviyo + Shopify
- Strong writing skills, specifically for e-marketing campaigns
DREAM CANDIDATES ALSO HAVE:
- Retail/small business experience
- Photography/editing skills
- SEO knowledge
- Familiarity with Asana for content planning/scheduling

- Working with our internal team to build out a monthly marketing calendar
- Working with our graphic designer on all necessary graphics for e-newsletters, social, and more
- Scheduling e-newsletters
- Handling day-to-day postings on all social media accounts
- Responding to questions via DM
- Proactively building reels, stories, and more
- Creating online advertising content + campaigns
- Reviewing analytics for social media and e-newsletters to identify areas for growth and improvement
