You will work with Mallory and our custom team to discuss your desires, style preferences, overall budget, and more, and we will work start to finish to create a special piece you will cherish forever. Since this piece is being designed just for you, a level of  trust is expected on both the customer and our end - this is usually not a fit if you want to see a finished piece prior to purchasing, want to dictate specific design elements like prong size or band thickness, or want to replicate a previous design. You can view some of our previous custom designs here. 

Pricing for this type of project begins at $2,500, with a $350 deposit to begin. 

STEP 1 - INTRODUCTORY MEETING

We will meet over the phone, via zoom, or in person to kick off your project. This meeting is to us to get an overall picture of the piece you'd like to create. We will cover metal preferences, stone desires, overall budget, unique features, and more. We take a $350 deposit to begin this meeting, which is applied to the cost of the piece. While we cannot replicate any previous designs on our end, or designs created by other designers, we do ask that you come to the meeting prepared with inspiration images so we can get an idea of your aesthetic and likes/dislikes. After this meeting, a full summary is sent over to the customer, along with next steps. 

STEP 2 - STONE SOURCING

We work closely with reputable stone vendors all over the world to find something perfect. Whether it's a GIA certified diamond, a uniquely cut sapphire, a stunning tourmaline or something else completely, we will help you to find it! In this process, we will present several photos and videos of stone options with stone pricing, and are usually able to have 2-3 options sent to view in-person. Once you have a selection, we require full payment for the stone. 

STEP 3 - DESIGNING

Our team will come up with 3 initial designs for you to review. We will include full setting pricing, measurements, design descriptions, and more. These are done via CAD, and we try to make these as realistic as possible so you can get a full sense of the finished piece. We allow two revisions of these initial designs - any additional changes will incur a $75 fee per revision. 

STEP 4 - WAX PRINTING

Once a design is chosen, we will get a wax model printed for you to try on. We can have this available in our store, or sent directly to you if we are working together remotely. This is an exact replica of the piece, and will give you a sense of scale, fit, and more. 

STEP 5 - PRODUCTION

Your piece gets made! We cast your piece from the model created, and work with our trusted stone setters to make sure your piece is finished to perfection.

This type of project is best for someone who has liked our already designed styles and wants to make some small tweaks.

We are currently in the process of coming up with a core collection of customizable designs. In the meantime, you can browse previous projects that we are able to customize here! A member of our team will then work with you to make this design your own - from helping to source a center stone to incorporate into the design, to selecting different metals or accent stones to include in it. 

Pricing for this type of project begins at $1,500.

Our team is in the process of building out our ready made designs, along with our current stone inventory. In the meantime, we have a portfolio of standard designs - solitaires, three stone rings, halos, pendant necklaces, and more - that can be adjusted to best suite your needs! 

STEP 2: CHAT WITH OUR TEAM

You can meet with a member of our team over the phone, via zoom, or in person to discuss your project. We can talk through customization options, stone preferences, metal preferences, and more. After this meeting, a full summary is sent over to the customer, along with next steps. There is no fee for this meeting, and it is a great opportunity to speak with us to get a feel for how we work! 

STEP 3: STONE SOURCING

If you are ready to move forward with one of our designs, we will first start with finding a primary stone. We charge a $200 stone sourcing fee, which is then applied to the full cost of the ring. During this process, we will initially send 4-5 stone options via email that fall within your specifications and desired budget. We can then have 1-2 options sent to view in person before finalizing a selection. 

STEP 4: DESIGN MODIFICATION

Our team will come up with a modified design featuring your stone selection for you to review.  We allow one design revision in this process - any additional changes will incur a $75 fee per revision. 

Similar to our custom design process, but with your well-loved heirloom stones. This process is intended for precious heirloom stones like diamonds and sapphires. We will work with you to remove stones from existing settings, and come up with creative ways to make your old pieces new again.

In this process, we will remove your stones from any existing settings, clean them, evaluate them, and provide you with a full take-in report. This report is delivered within 24-48 hours after stone drop off.  This is not an official stone appraisal, but will give you a full picture of the pieces that you have, and if they are useable.
